April 24 Talking about Bush orders gas price probe - Politics - MSNBC.comI seem to find it very hard to beleive that Bush is really going to do anything about this. This happened a few months back and the oil companies simply lowered them temporarily and then hiked them back up again. There has to be an alternative to these high gas prices. The oil companies are making a bundle while most American's are struggling to pay for the gas they get at the pump. I have a Honda Civic. It used to cost about $10-$12 to fill up the tank. I am floating at about $30 now. I can't even imagine what its like to fill an SUV or some other large vehicle these days. I can't say it was a great year but we made it through it healthy and safe and thats more than I could ask for. 2005 taught me to take care of my health as its the only thing I truly have. The year also taught me about love. September 23rd marked my one year anniversary. I couldn't beleive a year had passed. I have learned a lot about life and love this year, mostly that I still have so much more to learn.
I am done wtih 2005 and moving forwrd into a new year. My hope is that 2006 brings me love, peace and happiness to my life and to all those around me as well. I am not making any resolutions in 2006. I tend to break resolutions, so no sense in making them. I would rather make resolutions at the right time and not just because its a new year. This year will be a busy year, T's wedding, many trips, my 26th birthday, my 2nd wedding anniversary, and hopefully many new experiences along the way as I prepare for the next 25 years of my life.
